Built From Experience, Driven By Impact
The Delacorte Group was founded on a simple observation: mission-driven organizations need more than strategic advice—they need partners who can execute transformation from strategy through shipping code.
After spending 15 years leading product and organizational transformations at UNICEF, Reading Rainbow, and Empatico, founder Ryan Modjeski recognized a persistent gap in the market. Mission-driven organizations face an impossible choice: hire expensive big-firm consultants who deliver beautiful decks but no implementation, or work with offshore development shops that can code but lack strategic vision.
I've built my career solving impossible problems for mission driven organizations. The Delacorte Group is my way of scaling the product-centered work I've done for nonprofits and EdTech organizations to help more good people do good work.
The pattern was clear: transformation requires both strategic clarity and execution muscle. You need someone who can sit in board meetings and write code. Someone who understands nonprofit economics and can manage offshore development teams. Someone who's done it before—successfully—and can teach others how.
The Delacorte Group was built to fill that gap. We combine fractional C-suite leadership with vetted development capabilities, offering mission-driven organizations access to senior strategic expertise and technical execution at economics that actually work for nonprofits and EdTech companies.
As nonprofit executives ourselves, we are building the strategic partner we wished existed when we were there—one that stays embedded through implementation, measures success by shipped product and measurable impact, and treats every client's mission as our own.
